Stroll around Lister Park to view sculpture and public artwork, some on loan by the artists, others from Bradford’s own collections. See Bingley based artist Marcus Levine’s steel clout nail sculpture ‘Hung Out to Dry’ and family favourite, fibre glass ‘Hochlandbew’ by Otmar Alt.

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery is in the middle of Lister Park, one and a half miles from the City Centre on the A650 Manningham Lane. There is limited parking in Lister Park, accessible from North Park Road (off Oak Lane). Lister Park is served by many city centre bus services including 23, 25, 26, 49, 51, 52, 53, 54, 622, 647, 662, w5. Cartwright Hall is about ten minutes' uphill walk from Frizinghall railway station.

Bradford Museums and Galleries are proud to announce the introduction of AppEar; a new system to help the visually impaired explore our collections. This year we have been working closely with RNIB and Bradford Talking Media to develop the use of the audio PenFriend devices, which are already widely used within the visually impaired community. Visitors can now borrow a PenFriend from our reception desk to hear visual descriptions of the surrounding displays.
