Explore puppets and animation in this exhibition from Smallfilms’ cult creations by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin. Come and meet Bagpuss, see the Soup Dragon and behold Noggin the Nog. Discover original puppets, sets, and filming equipment. See how characters developed, and learn how Oliver and Peter developed their stop-frame animation techniques. Have a go yourself using 21st century technology and find out about some of their other creations: Pogles Wood and Ivor the Engine. On tour by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery is in the middle of Lister Park, one and a half miles from the City Centre on the A650 Manningham Lane.
