Funny Feelings

Play

Friday, 5 July 2019

Teenagers Davina and Sabrina meet and discover that, despite their different backgrounds, they have more in common than they first realised – one is a British Pakistani teenager, feeling bound by traditions and imagining how easy life would be if she were white, and the other a White girl wishing the opposite. Inspired by real stories from our diverse community, this new short play from award-winning Bradford based filmmaker Suman Hanif is a thought provoking exploration of hidden mental health issues. This performance also features a post-show discussion, where you will have the chance to ask any burning questions you may have.
