Join press photographer Paul Ellis as he talks about his career, assignments and photography. Paul has been a staff photographer with Angence France-Presse in the north of England since 2006. He'd studied photo-journalism wit the NCTJ in Sheffield before taking the traditional route in to the industry at a weekly newspaper. He quickly moved on to press agencies in Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds before joining the Manchester Evening News and the Press Association. He free-lanced for the Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, The Independent. He's covered the World Cup finale in football and rugby. The Open Gold championships, Champions League and Europa League Finals, Euro 2008 and 2016, Grand National and World Snooker. Also the Olympics, Paralympics in 2012. Ashes and World Cup Cricket, Six Nations Rugby and Rugby World Cup finals in France, New Zealand and England. He's covered political conferences, royal weddings, Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Papal visit to Glasgow and London. Plus more for a full day's work!

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery is in the middle of Lister Park, one and a half miles from the City Centre on the A650 Manningham Lane. There is limited parking in Lister Park, accessible from North Park Road (off Oak Lane). Lister Park is served by many city centre bus services including 23, 25, 26, 49, 51, 52, 53, 54, 622, 647, 662, w5. Cartwright Hall is about ten minutes' uphill walk from Frizinghall railway station.

Bradford Museums and Galleries are proud to announce the introduction of AppEar; a new system to help the visually impaired explore our collections.
